Mr. Turner was born on Dec. 17, 1941, in Blairsville, Ga., son of the late Flo Nix Turner and the late Carlos C. Turner.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Turner and Billy Turner.
Survivors include three sisters; Joann Wigley and her husband, Paul of Rockmart, Lorayne Morris of Dallas, and Wanda Kelley of Rockmart.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Revs. Randy Robinson and Brian Buchanan officiating. Burial followed in the family lot of Rockmart Memorial Gardens.
