Mrs. Berteen Eaves Allgary, 96, of 85115 Miner Rd., Yulee, Fla., passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. Mrs. Allgary was born in Haralson County on Sept. 12, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Grant Eaves and Lilla Ford Eaves.

Mrs. Allgary was a retired elder care giver.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel William Allgary; three daughters, Frances Burdette, Barbara Burden and Joyce Honea; three sons, Samuel G. Allgary, Franklin Allgary and Jimmy Allgary.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Edith and Ricky Johnson of Yulee, Fla., and Eva Mae and Charles Smith of Hilliard, Fla.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Nancy Adams of Bremen and Eva and Paul Rowan of Villa Rica; 30 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted at noon Friday, June 18, at Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in Piney Woods Cemetery.
