Steadman Baptist Church WMU ladies will be having their Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 5. The Bazaar will be held in the fellowship hall of the church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be homemade gifts, baked goods and so much more. For further information call Lori at 770-842-8410.
Groundbreaking
The Antioch Baptist Church, 715 Tallapoosa St., Bremen, will have a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of an addition to the church building on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m.
Holiday bazaar
Kansas Baptist Church, located halfway between Bowdon and Tallapoosa on Hwy 100, will host a Holiday Bazaar Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be available. There will be a variety of gifts, holiday ideas, baked goods, Christmas decor, jewelry, books vintage items, crafts, and so much more. Gift wrapping available. Proceeds go to missions.
Hands of Creation, Inc.
Hands of Creation, Inc. is asking for your help in providing food items to complete the Christmas Baskets to be given to those in need to make sure their families have food during this holiday season. Items to bring at drop off locations are: corn meal, sage, chicken broth, eggs, potatoes, onions, tea, butter, candy, (meat $10 donation), mayo, mac & cheese, cranberry sauce, celery, sugar, green beans, relish, corn, nuts and fruits. Stranger In A Manager
Please join Buchanan United Methodist Church and the Cricket Choir for a Dr. Suess-influenced Christmas program celebrating the birth of Jesus at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13. Children ages 3-9 perform, Broadway-style musical numbers to traditional and new Christmas favorites at Buchanan UMC on the square in Buchanan. Goodies will follow the performance.
The First Day of Christmas
For some down-home Christmas fun, join the G-Minors, a middle school praise team, as they perform, “The First Day of Christmas” at Buchanan United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13. This group of redneck characters struggles with the true meaning of Christmas. As they search their hearts, they perform entertaining music and provide a little comic relief.
